Ninety six of our students took part in this year’s Senior Mathematics Challenge. This is a challenging multiple choice paper taken by 90,000 students across the UK from both state and independent schools. The top sixty per-cent of scorers are subsequently awarded a gold , silver or bronze certificate in the ratio 1:2:3.
Well done to all our students who took part in the challenge and congratulations to the students listed below who were awarded a certificate. Notable performances were achieved by James Twigg and Jovia Gao who were invited to take part in the next round the British Mathematics Olympiad and also by Alistair Brown, James Ozel, Matthew Rowe and Ben Towers who were invited to take part in the Senior Kangaroo paper. Well done also to Jennifer Patrick for being the only non- further mathematician to achieve a gold certificate.
